Parent Information

Thank you for your interest in our school. As a team we constantly strive to achieve the best for the children. The Window to the World School welcomes students from all nationalities. Enrollment into our school is possible the whole year round. In the case of children joining school when the term has started, we will make every effort to make sure they feel welcomed and are looked after to ensure that their start is smooth and they quickly make friends and settle.

Our Primary School department is still in the process of being set up. We have no Parent Information Book available yet, but you can turn to us with any questions on this matter and you will find regular updated information on this website.

About the extended education program
Our Extended Education Program was set up for Indonesian children from underprivileged families. It is designed to help Indonesian children up to the age of sixteen to overcome problems they will face if they do not get help filling up the gaps in the Indonesian education system. Homework classes are important for children from socio weak families who cannot offer any assistance at home, to narrow the chance these children drop out of school. The extended education program is free of charge for children from underprivileged families. If you wish your child to enroll into the extended education program we would like to ask a donation of Rupiah 1.500,000 per year, per child. Your donation will help us paying the teacher salaries. We have no information booklet for parents in English for this program but we will be happy to answer any questions on this subject.

Parent Information Book
The Parent Information Book for the Early Childhood department can be downloaded and is designed to help parents and other interested people to become familiar with how or school operates. It may not answer all your questions in which case an e-mail, telephone call or visit to the school may be of assistance. The digital version of the Parent Information will be updated from time to time as required. Parents also receive a hard copy at the beginning of the academic year. The hard copied handout will only be updated twice a year. For this matter, any changes in schools’ policies or calendar throughout the academic year will be notified through our parent newsletters.
