Volunteers

Window to the World could not have grown without the ingenuity, passion, commitment and plain old-fashioned hard work of our volunteers and interns. We embrace any ideas, connections and experience to enhance our sustainability, building on our programs, or supporting our fundraising efforts.

We expect from our volunteers they will have high intercultural sensitivity and be tolerant to different views and ways of life.

  • For our supporting foundation in The Netherlands, The Foundation for Educational Projects Bali, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic man or woman, who would like to complete our fundraising team. We are looking for someone who lives in the vicinity of the village of Bussum, Het Gooi. The function would take two hours of your time a week and can be done, mostly, from home. Good computer skills are necessary.
  • For the school project in Lovina we are looking for young people, preferable native speakers of English, to join us for a one trimester in giving English conversation classes within the extended education program.
  • For the school project in Lovina we are looking for a person who can help professionalising our administrative office. We are thinking about someone with experience working as a secretary who could spend around three hours a day at our office for a period of three months.

"Working at Window to the World showed me that education is the most valuable investment into a child's life" -Robin Jansen former teacher trainee and volunteer for WttW-

"When I was looking for volunteer work in North Bali back in 2009, it was quite limited. It turned out to be to my advantage as I found  WTTW and I'm still there. I love this school and all that they do in education for both the privileged & under-privileged". Jude Benson- long time volunteer-
